Empowering Students

Johnada has spent her career studying and enhancing the different learning styles of her students. She is an expert at retraining pupils who have had trouble learning piano in the past. She attributes her success with these students to guided discovery learning methods, which empower learners to become independent thinkers at the keyboard.

Applied Theory

Johnada has found that music can be easily learned when its component parts are previewed, identified, and labeled, facilitating better comprehension. Also, Johnada's applied theory approach to music is applicable to any other instrument. Students are welcome to bring other instruments to apply their learning beyond piano.
